THE POWER OF CONNECTION, THE STRENGTH OF COMMUNITY, AND SPARK OF CREATIVITY
THE CIRCLE
An exclusive community that unites neighbors, friends, and seekers of meaningful moments. It’s a space for those who share our values: a love for timeless beauty, authentic experiences, and soulful gatherings — with wine at its core.
FRENCH CONNECTION, THE WINE TASTING
‘The French Connection: Elegance over Power’ is the theme of the next edition of The Circle at Morgado do Quintão—an intimate journey celebrating the timeless connection between Portugal and France, woven through history, culture, and the elegance of wine. From the lineage of Portugal’s first king to the shared traditions of terroir, this tasting experience invites us to explore not just the wines, but the stories and values that bind us.
We are delighted to welcome Pascal F. Salvadori, Fine Wine Consultant and Advanced Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers USA), as our special guest host. Born in Paris with a rich multicultural heritage and decades of global wine expertise—from founding Class Wines, Inc. in the U.S. to leading roles at Veuve Clicquot and Palm Bay Imports—Pascal now calls the Algarve home, where he continues to share his passion for fine wines and meaningful connections.
At the heart of this Circle is the harmony between balance and finesse—qualities that define the contemporary style of Morgado do Quintão wines, echoing the elegance of French winemaking traditions. Guests will enjoy a tasting of Morgado do Quintão wines alongside a selection of French wines, highlighting the parallels and contrasts between the two regions. Together, we will discover how restraint, nuance, and character can transcend power, reflecting a philosophy that feels especially relevant today. The setting is informal and intimate—an opportunity to share stories, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere among friends and fellow wine lovers. Guests are invited to stay longer after the tasting to enjoy a French-inspired dinner featuring comfort dishes prepared to complement the wines and the spirit of the evening. Whether you come for the wines, the conversation, or the shared connection to place and purpose, we look forward to raising a glass with you.
The event: 24 April, 5:30 PM at Morgado do Quintão | 50€ per person (tasting only) | 90€ (tasting + dinner) | Reservations Required.
THE CHEESE & WINE AFFAIR
Some affairs never fade — they evolve.
On May 26, we celebrate the timeless and tantalising relationship between wine and cheese: a love story written across regions, textures, and time. The Wine & Cheese Affair is an invitation to taste, learn and connect. Part of The Circle curated agenda, our ongoing series of intimate gatherings at Morgado do Quintão, this event explores the rich alchemy between our wines and a handpicked selection of cheeses from here and afar.
Expect bold contrasts, subtle harmonies, and surprising moments — as we uncover how acidity, fat, salt, and tannins dance together on the palate. This is more than a tasting; it’s a journey into pairing as craft and pleasure, guided by curiosity and a shared table. Whether you're a seasoned taster or simply cheese-curious, come ready to indulge your senses and feed your mind. We’ll bring the wine. The cheese will bring the rest.
Limited seats.
The event: 26 May, 5:30 PM at Morgado do Quintão | 50€ per person (tasting only) | 90€ (tasting + dinner) | Reservations Required.

CRAFTING BASKETRY & WINE
In collaboration with TASA – Ancestral Techniques, Current Solutions, this event will explore the Algarve’s rich tradition of cane basketry, a craft deeply rooted in the region’s culture and agricultural history. Just like winemaking, basketry is a practice of patience, skill, and sustainability—transforming raw materials into something lasting and meaningful.
The TASA Project was created in 2010 with the mission of bringing innovation to the arts and crafts industry, asserting its position as a profession of the future. They started working with 11 artisans – the pioneers of TASA – and today they are proud to have an active network of 47 people in the Algarve and the Alentejo covering most of the traditional arts still active, in their different local/regional expressions: Pottery, Cane Basketry, Bulrush Seat Production, Palm Leaf Weaving, Weaving, Tinsmithing, Copper, Cork, Wood, Tiling and Ceramics.
Basketry, especially in the Algarve, has a long tradition, with artisans specializing in making baskets and other utensils. This art not only has a practical function, but is also deeply rooted in the culture and identity of the region. The relationship between wine production and the art of basketry in southern Portugal is a fusion of agricultural tradition and craftsmanship, reflecting a deep knowledge of the territory and its needs.
Join us and you’ll learn the intricate techniques of this time-honored craft, followed by a special Morgado do Quintão wine tasting that celebrates the land, tradition, and artistry behind each bottle. Stay longer and share a cozy meal with us—we’ll put together a warm and welcoming dinner, so the conversations can linger around the table and we all get to know each other.
The event: 10 March, 5:30 PM at Morgado do Quintão | 50€ per person (tasting only) | 90€ (tasting + dinner) | Reservations Required.
FERMENTATION MAGIC
Experience the wonder of fermentation through a curated tasting of bread, wine, and other fermented delights. In collaboration with José Duarte from Padaria Santa Isabel, we invite you to explore how this ancient process shapes the flavors we love.
@padariasantaisabel was founded in September 2022 as a passion project by José Duarte, a food engineer dedicated to the art of fermentation. Specializing in slow, natural fermentation doughs, the bakery uses stone-milled flours to ensure high-quality products that honor artisanal traditions. It combines technique and dedication to offer bread with authentic flavor, highlighting excellence in both processes and ingredients. Before founding the bakery, José gained five years of experience in the craft beer industry, bringing his expertise to further refine his work with fermentation.
From the bold complexity of a finely aged wine to the crisp, tangy bite of artisanal sourdough, fermentation is the invisible force that connects them all.
The event: 10 February, 5:30 PM at Morgado do Quintão | 50€ per person (tasting only) | 90€ (tasting + dinner) | Reservations Required.
