Shaded by almond orchards, the Amêndoa cottage looks out onto our Negramole and Castelão vineyard. Wild flowers grow at the edge of the glistening pool which separates the living spaces from orange sunsets that sink over the mountainous horizon.

ABOUT

The Amêndoa cottage can can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 rooms with 2 bathrooms complete with scents from La'Eva.  Built by our mother the 1920's, the house was the first to open up to guests on the estate and perhaps was the start of new adventures for our family. We decorated it carefully, filling it with curiosities and finds from local sources, and with artwork and books from our own collections. Located at the westerly edge of our vineyards, the cottage is secluded and private amongst natures’ bounty and yet a mere stroll from the main house.  The kitchen is well equipped so you can self cater beautiful meals on your terrace or sat around the private pool that looks out onto the old olive grove. Get cosy in the living room after dark and you'll soon lean back into the rhythms of Algarvian time. 

RATES

The Amêndoa cottage is available for stays for a maximum of 4 adults in two double bedrooms and 4 children in a bunk room from April - October.

Prices start from €300 per night

We have a 3 to 5 nights minimum stay (please contact us for short stays)

For all other inquiries about staying with us outside of our minimum stay requirements do get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

Babies under 3 years old that sleep in a travel cot (provided upon request) do not count as an additional person.

Our grape harvest starts on August 18th (if you would like to participate just let us know on booking).

• Holds 4 adults and 4 children in 3 bedrooms, 1 of which has an en-suite bathroom, the others with a shared bathroom.

• 3 Bedrooms host Two Double Size beds 180cm/6ft wide / Two bunk beds.

• Floor to ceiling windows with direct access to the patio and beautiful natural daylight throughout the cottage.

• Bed linen, towels and bathroom essentials by La’Eva are provided as well as a powerful hairdryer.

• High-speed Wi-Fi connection is included.

• The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric cooker/hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle as well as a washing machine, iron and ironing board for laundry.

LOCATION

Nestled at the intersection between the rolling Algarvian Barrocal, the Monchique Mountains and some of the regions most dramatic beaches, our cottages are the perfect place to experience a true and authentic Algarve. Faro Airport is just a 50 minutes drive away. For those who wish to enjoy the journey, we are located 5 minutes from the Silves train station, but we do recommend hiring a car for your stay so you can explore freely.
